How's Your Mum?
In late 2022, running parallel to the perceived fall of Twitter, Steve Whiting acquired Bells Palsy, his Mum suffered a stroke and his sister passed away. Much of the last quarter of 2022 was spent updating family and friends via WhatsApp, text, email and phone. Not that Steve would wish to have this time over again, however, the model of directing people to a channel that they may subscribe to and, through which, they could receive timely, personal updates became impossible for Steve to ignore. In January 2023, Web Diffusion's microBlog gained the ability to stream short form content via RSS.
