Blast From The Past
Following-on from the earlier post today about looking through the archive, I came across our email newsletter that we named Blast!
We retired the HTML email newsletter back in 2015, in the face of the growth of social media. Now, nearly ten years down the line, the social experiment appears to be gradually blowing-itself out. (Honestly, when was the last time you heard a news item about somebody tweeting on X?)
Haven't we all had enough of being urged that marketing was all about making prank video content or starting each 8 second short with a cute little dance?
We really think it's time to take a second look at the communication model of emailing quality, relevant, marketing content to known customers and prospects instead of pandering to unknown prospects by jiggling your bits on the socials.
