Nice Flexbox Image Gallery
Just working on a photo gallery for a forthcoming website. I'm creating the gallery using Web Diffusion's Image Sequencer.
This highly flexible tool allows us to insert a gallery into a web page composed from an index of thumbnail images. The thumbnails may be clicked to show a larger, higher resolution, image. What's great about the Image Sequencer is that there's no limit imposed on the number of images which may be shown in a collection.
So far, so normal. The difference today is that the display styling of this particular photo gallery is controlled by two flexboxes. To date, image galleries have been more formal, with image thumbnails being of uniform size. In this instance, we're faced with the potential for images of any size needing to be placed on the page in an ordered fashion.
